Any kind of scavenger hunt is a big hit with both kids here actually. This took about 4 and a half minutes to put together. I did google search for ___ clip art. For example: bird clip art, car clip art, squirrel clip art, etc. Copy and pasted intpo a Word Doc and printed it out and off we went. We took our first walk in MONTHS! First warmish day in a long time. He was really enjoying looking for and crossing out the objects. Until....he tripped and fell. :( He then wanted to go home. We will be doing this again! Next time I will use a small clipboard to make it easier for him to hold and cross off pictures as we walk.

great idea. I am going to have to try this with my daughter
ReplyDeleteMy son just made up his own scavenger hunt yesterday. I am going to use your idea of using Google images to make a list for him and use it on our next nature walk. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteOh this is a neat idea. I never would have thought to use clip art. The kids would really get into it :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking to Kid friendly Friday!
That is a great idea, my kids love scavenger hunts.
ReplyDeleteCute, I have an indoor savanger hunt I'm including on an upcoming post for PE activities, and have been looking for a simple outdoor one to go with it. I'll add this to that post on ABC & 123 for next month. Thanks!
